The Sport

Strength. Technique. Competition.

Organised armwrestling is far more than a test of raw strength. It rewards technique, reaction speed, grip and strategy, and is contested under formal WAF sanctioned rules across competitive weight divisions for both men and women.

The AAF exists to grow that sport in Australia — promoting competitions of the highest possible standard, running the official National Championships, and giving athletes a recognised, well-officiated place to test themselves.
